Dickinson Season 2 release date on Apple TV+
Apple has dropped the Season 2 trailer for its Peabody Award-winning comedy Dickinson, starring Hailee Steinfeld as the rebellious young American poet, Emily Dickinson.
Created, written and executive produced by Alena Smith, Dickinson season 2 follows Emily (Steinfeld) as she is pulled out of her private literary life and thrust into the public eye, while struggling with the sense that the pursuit of fame might be a dangerous game for her to play.
Steinfeld joins returning Season 2 cast Jane Krakowski, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, Toby Huss and Adrian Blake Enscoe, along with rapper, singer, and songwriter Wiz Khalifa, who returns in the role of Death. New guest stars in Season 2 include Nick Kroll as Edgar Allan Poe, Timothy Simons as Frederick Law Olmsted, Ayo Edebiri as Hattie, Will Pullen as Nobody, and recurring actors Finn Jones as Sam Bowles and Pico Alexander as Henry ‘Ship’ Shipley.
Michael Sugar and Ashley Zalta also executive produce for for Sugar23 Productions along with Paul Lee and Josh Stern for wiip, Alex Goldstone for Anonymous Contentand Steinfeld. Smith also serves as showrunner. The series is produced by wiip, Anonymous Content and Sugar23.
Dickinson Season 2 launches January 8 on Apple TV+.
